About the Job
- Successful candidate will report directly to Managing Partners and Trader.
- Applicants must have exceptional phone skills combined with the ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients.
- Daily responsibilities will include cold calling from a well defined and detailed calling platform and review and development of transactions sourced through cold call efforts.
- The position will have wide exposure to the negotiation, trading and credit analysis of transactions which will further refine the successful applicants deal sourcing skills.
- Mortgage related sales background combined with analytical thought process is desirable.
- This is an entry level position that, if successful, can lead to many areas within the firm or industry.
- Position will involve long hours, steep learning curve, stressful environment and minimal starting salary plus commissions.
- The reward will be an education and procurement of a distinctive skill set rarely attainable at the entry level.
- Candidates are required and expected to exhibit an ability to learn quickly and lead rather than follow.
- Direct experience in mortgage loan sales, mortgage loan origination, loan servicing, mortgage loan portfolio management, loss mitigation, REO management is desirable and will provide a spring board for future success in the firm.
Skills/Background Required:
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills both written and oral
- Energetic and tenacious work ethic
- Extraordinary memory for detail
- Undergraduate degree (Finance/Accounting or related preferred)
- 3+ years related industry experience
- Working knowledge of financial concepts and trading terminology
- Ability to perform under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment
