About the Job

Transcendent Investments is preparing to launch its institutional focused Internet‐based auction marketplace designed to generate greater transaction volume and liquidity for sellers, as well as greater pricing transparency and accessibility for qualified buyers of loan portfolios and whole loan mortgages. While the initial focus is on trading residential mortgage loans and scheduled for a 1st quarter launch, management desires to begin building out the commercial real estate side of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly comprehend business’ vision and strategy and build the appropriate team and processes for seamless operational execution.
• Critical manager of relationships with Transcendent Investments third party servicers who provide pre-auction due diligence through post-auction settlement.
• Responsible for recruiting and managing a team of professionals who oversee all process oriented functions including pre auction due diligence, document warehousing, attestation, and settlement services for commercial transactions.
• Executive Vice President will be an integral member of the management team and will be involved in companywide management decisions and external promotional activity.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of financial markets operations experience with expertise in electronic trading platforms and/or CRE whole loan mortgage processes and trading
• Previous experience should include roles at industry leading firms. Roles can include either operations management or whole loan origination, sales and trading
• In depth knowledge of the secondary market for whole loan mortgages; including a comprehensive understanding of the current market issues.
• Strong industry contacts and the ability to leverage those relationships, as well as establish new relationships
• Bachelor degree in finance or a business-related degree is required. MBA a plus.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills
• Significant management and leadership experience
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment. Previous start-up experience a plus.
