About the Job
The Fiduciary Real Estate Asset Manager will:
- Maintain strong relationships and partner with Private Banking and Private Wealth Management professionals to collaborate on short, intermediate and long term real estate strategies that meet the objectives and goals of both high net worth and ultra high net worth clients
- Deliver a broad range of asset and property management services to a diverse portfolio of real estate located in numerous market segments
- Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients and trusted advisors, communicating and presenting the status of goals and objectives on an ongoing basis
- Form effective working relationships and networks with vendors, contractors, third party property managers, appraisers, brokers and other service providers to ensure timely and superior completion of all projects and deliverables
- Travel to real estate locations, client meetings and internal meetings on an as needed basis
- Maximize revenue, control expenses and enhance value on retained real estate assets
- Ensuring that the best possible value on acquisitions and dispositions is obtained
- Be proficient in lease, sale, and acquisition negotiations
- Prioritize and manage multiple complex projects in various stages with aggressive deadlines and timelines
- Obtain and maintain industry designations applicable to this position, fulfilling ongoing mandatory education and training requirements as necessary
- Monitor and effect annual OCC and Federal regulatory compliance requirements as applicable to the assigned real estate portfolio
Experience/Background
- College degree preferred
- Minimum 5+ years real estate asset management experience
- Real estate license and complimentary industry designations preferable
Responsibilities
The Fiduciary Real Estate Asset Manager is responsible for:
- Portfolio management of 75 -150 real estate assets with market value potentially exceeding 100 million dollars
- Developing strategies and recommendations for individual real estate assets and coordinating communication to both internal partners and external clients
- Implementation, oversight and completion of strategies and projects while ensuring that all due diligence and documentation is inputed and secured in the appropriate management information and electronic file systems
- Partnering with internal and external resources to ensure that all services and projects are timely delivered and completed effectively
- Prioritizing and delegating projects to appropriate support resources and oversight of ongoing progress
- Oversight of all real estate related revenue and expenses
- Meeting monthly and annual compliance and regulatory deadlines
- Adhering to internal policies and procedures
